030 T Decauville 1926 locomotive Nr. 1835 Series-produced locomotive adapted by the constructor to the 70 gauge.
It was in use from the beginning and was completely overhauled by the Association du Chemin de Fer Forestier d’Abreschviller in 1970 and 1992 (No 2).
Small diesel locomotive with 3 axles built by COFERNA (Constructions Ferroviaires et Navales) in Les Sables d'Olonne in 1953. Delivered in spare parts and assembled by the workshop of the O.N.F.
Drove until 1966.
Refurbished by the Association du Chemin de Fer Forestier d'Abreschviller in 1968 for the opening of the tourist business, the original Willème engine being replaced with a new Perkins engine in 1976.
The VOITH hydraulic system was overhauled in 1973 and 2004.
4 «Schirmeck» cars : They are former tombs from the Donon Military Railway (1914) for the transportation of ammunition.
During logging, these cars were used to transport material or wood (logs), and sometimes to transport tourists.
3 of these cars were converted in 1967-68 by the Association du Chemin de Fer Forestier d'Abreschviller for tourist use (benches + side panels and roof on the platforms), the 4th practically remained in its original state.
5 small wagons with 8 seats each to transport the workers :Restaurés ils servaient occasionnellement (avec la Decauville).
6-seater luxury car with platform : was used as a “comfort car” during logging (a coal stove allowedheating). History says that the «Kaiser Wilhelm II» borrowed it during his visit of the Donon during the First World War.
Tool cars, tippers, trucks and wood trains : Also preserved (for track work) were 2 tool cars, 3 dump cars, 1 vanand for "historic" wood trains, 8 wood trucks with the necessary equipment to load the logs (hoist-winch).
« Renault »-Draisine : built by the railway network in 1925 and based on a car type NN.
A jack mounted under the car that can be supported on the rails allows the vehicle to be turned at the end of the line.
« Hotchkiss »-Draisine : built by the railway network in 1930 for the transport of workers (12 places). This «free» drawing machine takes its name from its engine.
Fixed steam engine of the Forge Sawmill : This huge machine of type «Richmond» was preserved by the Association du Chemin de Fer Forestier d'Abreschviller pending its refurbishment.
Various machines acquired since 1968 by the Association Steam locomotive 030 with separate tender :
Built by JUNG in Jungenthal in 1944. It is a type of Heeresfeldbahn HF 110 machine built inseries by JUNG and HENSCHEL for the German army (front of Russia) : with its external frame, thisvariable gauge machine ( 60-76 cm) had been acquired after the war by Austria.
It ran on the PREDING- WIESELSDORF-STAINZ line of the „Steiermarkirsche Landesbahn“ for the traction ofstandard-track cars on 76-track carrier trucks. It was acquired with an original tender of the series in 1970 and refurbished in 1975-76 (N°4) (Manuf. N°10 120).
This machine arrived at its 10-year overhaul step in 2005.
Important work will be requiredon the fireplace and boiler before it is returned to service.
Steam engine 020 T : Built by Orenstein and Koppel in NORDHAUSEN in 1911 N° 4720, displayed at the arrival station at Grand Soldat
020 Gmeinder-Kaelble Locotractor, type Heeresfeldbahn HF 50 : with variable gauge. It was built for the German army in 1944.
In the background, the Decauville and between the 2, the green lounge car with vintage wood stove.

Closed „Wengen“ cars (N°41-42) : Built in 1927 by SIG Neuhausen for the „Wengenalpbahn“ (WAB) in Switzerland (Lauterbrunnenwengen-Kleine Scheidegggrindelwald line).
They were purchased in 1969.
The gauge transformation from80 to 70 cm was made in the workshops of Interlaken.
The complementary adaptation of these cars that were to their origin pushed on a rack railway was made in our workshops (brake and head cabin modifications, aso...).
In 1999, four other closed train cars were purchased from the same railway company.
Their construction is identical to the SIG Neuhausen 1930 but the „WAB“ modernized them in the 1950s removing side doors and creating a hallway

- Train cars "Orléans" (n°27-28) built by Ets Cadoux for the Floralies d'Orléans (line with a60 gauge).
They were purchased in 1970 and adapted in our workshops to a 70 gauge Diebolt train cars n°25-26.
They were built in 1970 by the Ets Diebolt in Marmoutier on railway boggies according to plans designed by the Association du Chemin de Fer Forestier d'Abreschviller.
As a reminder, the standard gauge
locomotive 02 + 20 T Mallet : of the former Avricourt-Blâmont-Cirey line closed in1969.
This machine built by HENSCHEL in 1911 is the last Mallet with standard gauge in France.
It was saved by the Association du Chemin de Fer Forestier d'Abreschviller in 1970 and entrusted to theDoller tourist railway line Cernay-Sentheim.
Orient Express train car : Since June 30th, 2009, the Association du Chemin de Fer Forestier d'Abreschviller is pleased to present its «Orient Express» car, built on a pedagogical project by the students and teachers of the Technical School"D. Labroise", from one of the cars "Wengen" which was in disrepair.
This car is considered as a first class luxury car.
It is presented for a nostalgic ballad in the pure «Art Deco» style and integrated in a classic train.
